Participle (Ongoing Action)
The participle expresses ongoing action without specifying time. It is the "-ing" form of the verb.

READING GOAL:
To recognize participle forms and understand that context determines past or present.

The Rule

English: "I am walking" / "he is eating" / "she was running"

Judean: Subject + Participle (NO ื” prefix)

  • ืื ื›ื™ ื”ื•ืœืš = "I walking" (I am walking)
  • ื”ื•ื ืื›ืœ = "he eating" (he is eating)
  • ืื™ืฉ ืจืฅ = "a man running" (a man is/was running)
