Imperative (Commands)
Direct commands to another person. The subject "you" is understood and built into the verb form.

READING GOAL:
To recognize imperative verb forms and understand how commands are given in Judean.

The Rule

English: Command verb alone (Walk! Eat! Speak!)

Judean: Special imperative form of the verb

  • Subject "you" is understood
  • Different forms for masculine/feminine
  • Different forms for singular/plural
