The Quick Answer to this Question

The quick and technical answer to the question "How did I come upon this information?" My eyes came upon the symbols and I noticed immediately that they looked like hand signs at first sight. No one else saw the resemblance of hand signs. I dismissed my observations concerning the symbols because I couldn’t find anyone who knew that about the origins of the symbols. Later on, my suspicions were raised, and I discovered the hand signs and symbolic meaning of the symbols and words through deduction, trial and error, and the scientific method.

I used skills like observing, hearing, seeing, noting, feeling, thinking, questioning, wondering, pondering, and speculating. All good things come from the Almighty Yahuah who created heaven and earth. You can skip to the next tab in this app if you just wanted the short version.

The Religious Answer to this Question

Praying for Wisdom

When Solomon prayed to the Creator for wisdom, he was granted it, along with fame and fortune. Yahuah was responsible for endowing Solomon with wisdom. He opened his eyes so he could see and reason and know a vast variety of information. Solomon had the gift of critical thinking.

When I say, “Yahuah revealed to me the origins of the symbols,” it sounds like I spoke to Yahuah and he directly showed me, but that’s not what I mean. Yahuah opened my eyes to see the hand signs, answering my prayers. After I received the knowledge that the symbols were expressing a hand gesture, I felt curious to test each symbol to discover their hand sign.

The Detailed Answer to this Question

Now for the detailed version concerning how I came upon this information. In 1994, I was introduced to the symbols by my children’s father. I was thrilled to learn that our nation had its own language. As an Israelite from the Cabo Verdean diaspora, speaking ancient Hebrew fascinated me. When I first saw the symbols, I immediately asked, “Did they come from hand signs?”

Fast forward to 1999, when the internet started to grow. I began building websites, searching for information about Paleo Hebrew symbols and their connection to hand signs, but I couldn’t find anyone making that connection. I dropped the idea until 2019, when I revisited my studies on the origins of the symbols. I found that translations were poor, and I was determined to uncover the truth.

I asked myself questions like: “Why does the Dalath symbol mean ‘door’? A triangle-like shape does not look like a door to me.” I started using my hands to create the shape of the Dalath symbol, and suddenly, I saw the door. I began testing all the symbols and realized they were indeed connected to hand signs. The information I uncovered came slowly, like a lesson plan from Yahuah.

Later, I discovered the meaning of the Hey symbol, which is associated with “breath.” By making the hand sign, I felt the meaning of the symbol rather than seeing it. This realization confirmed that the symbols had sensory meanings beyond the visual.

I continued to investigate other symbols, such as the Samak and Zeyn, which were difficult to decipher due to conflicting sources. However, by using the process of deduction and the help of previous researchers, I was able to piece together their meanings. The discoveries I made came with the help of those who had already done foundational work, which I greatly appreciate.

I claim the discovery of the hand and body signs of the Manakahthey language, along with its name from the Bible, the understanding of the vowel system, the meaning of gender in the language, how it comes from a hand sign, how to write them properly, and their symbolic meanings.

Before releasing my book in 2020, I searched the internet again to see if anyone else had discovered that Hebrew symbols came from hand signs. After 20 years, there was still no mention of it. This reinforced my belief that I was the first to document this information.

Using logic and wisdom, I searched for the meaning of words in the Hebrew Bible, using the process of deduction to uncover the truth about many symbols. One symbol confirmed another, and together, they agreed in unity. During this process, I asked Yahuah for guidance when I was unsure. The knowledge I received came through asking the right questions and being observant.

This is my account of how I came upon this information. It came to me slowly, in a way I could digest. I give thanks to Yahuah for revealing it to me.

My work isn’t done. Volume two of my book, a dictionary and more, is still being written. My goal is to complete the work, but I need sponsorship and support. Consider supporting me by visiting Patreon.com/bathyah or donating directly to Itharey.com/donate.
