The Bible never mentions "Hebrew" as the language spoken by the Jewish people—it mentions "Judean" (see 2 Kings 18:26-28, Isaiah 36:11-13, Nehemiah 13:24). "Hebrew" refers to Abraham's ethnic identity as a descendant of Eber, but Abraham spoke the same language as the rest of the world at that time, coming from Noah. The language of the Jewish people is properly called Judean, and this site honors that truth even though using "Hebrew" would generate more search traffic.

Manakahthey is the name Itharey gives to the ancient mother language that existed before Judean—the language from the Tower of Babel era that Noah's descendants spoke. Scientists call it "Proto-Canaanite" as a placeholder, acknowledging a mother language existed but unable to name it. Abraham was alive during Noah's lifetime and spoke this universal language. Since Itharey identified the origins through primitive hand and body signs, she has named it Manakahthey (from Zephaniah 3:9-10). This language can be seen within Ancient Judean, Phoenician, Moabite, and Canaanite texts—all so similar that scholars struggle to distinguish them because they share this common origin.

Author of "Primitive Sign Language Etymologies of Ancient Biblical Hebrew" (2020), she discovered that Ancient Hebrew symbols originate from hand and body signs, revealing why symbols combine to create words and their metaphoric meanings that bring words to life. Her work fulfills the prophecy in Zephaniah 3:9-10.
