Overview

Imperfect Verb (Future/Ongoing Action)
The Imperfect tense describes action that is not yet complete - present or future actions.

Judean: PREFIX attached to verb root. The subject is built into the prefix.

READING GOAL:
To recognize imperfect verb prefixes and understand that the subject is contained within the verb.

The Rule

English: Subject + Verb as separate words (I walk, he will eat)

Judean: Prefix + Verb Root = one word containing both subject and action

The prefix tells you WHO is doing the action.
