Overview

Judean: Adjectives must match the noun in number (singular/plural) and gender (masculine/feminine).

English: Adjectives do not change form based on the noun.

READING GOAL:
To recognize when adjectives change their ending to match the noun.

The Rule

English: Adjective stays the same (good dog, good dogs, good woman, good women)

Judean: Adjective ending changes to match the noun:

  • Singular masculine: base form (no change)
  • Singular feminine: add ื”
  • Plural masculine: add ื™ื
  • Plural feminine: add ื•ืช
